Saw the movie at the Sydney Film Festival, ‘All About Love.’ This movie is set on the Central escalator environs of modern Hong Kong . It is a story about the lives and loves of gay and bi-sexual women seeking to define and live their versions of ‘family.’ There is an interesting take on the role of men in this world: are they there to be educated, to be sperm donors or for their feminine sides to be discovered?
Macy (Sandra Ng) is the uninhibited leader of a pack of beautiful, professional woman, who re-connects with her former lover, Anita (Vivian Chow) through mutual accidental pregnancies with despicable men. If you can track this movie down, it is highly recommended. 7/10
