Saw the movie ‘The Girl Who Played with Fire,’ the sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, where after a only a short time enjoying life, Lisbeth is set up for multiple murders, by a man who loomed large in her past.
The portentous remark by her former guardian of her ‘invincibility’ contrasts the reality of her vulnerability, created by a past where she was the victim of heinous treatment at the hands of those meant to protect. She unfolds as the woman’s protector, but closer to Catwoman than Wonder Woman. 7/10.
