Saw the movie, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. This movie promises so much with its great opening, had great material available - the crash of 2008/9 and all those bad Wall St guys - but the script was so poor.
It was also hard to look past some really bad moralizing delivered by poor acting (like when the bankers get together with the Fed to discuss whether to bail out a bank). Carey Mulligan as Gekko’s grown up daughter was the only highlight, and if you’re into motor cycle riding which has no point in the plot, then there is a good scene. I’m really scratching for highlights though. 2/10.
