Later #27: A movie, 'Up in the Air'


Saw 'Up in the Air' with my favourite actor (after Penny Cruz, just joking), George Clooney. What a bleak view of life! Society's norms are challenged in this black parody. Should we be sailing without a home or finding a place to return to after each episode? The global financial crisis hit the US harder than here in Australia and this movie seems to reflect the mood. No wonder this is a fav’ for a 2010 Oscar. 7/10.

    You may be better off watching 'Up', the animated movie. More to do with everlasting love, quite a poignant movie.
